Kenneth Margon
Founder, Director
and CTO
Ken comes with more than 24 years of engineering
/business experience in telecommunications, wireless
technologies, medical information systems and U.S.
Government applications.
At the beginning of the micro computer industry
in the 1980s, Ken developed medical applications
software running on peer to peer networks.
In 1986, Ken was one of the pioneers of what would
become the outsourcing engineering services and
GIS Data Base development industry, managing projects
for Indian Bell, Pacific Bell and later with Lockheed
Missiles and Space. As a Systems Designer with the
US Navy, Ken designed temporary systems to help
bridge applications as the US Navy transitioned
from one fully integrated system to another for
tracking ship intermediate maintenance.
In 1998, Ken became the CTO of Embedded Wireless
Labs. During this period of steady development activity,
the company received more than 43 international
patents. Ken holds multiple patents in RF communications
protocols, location based services, micro-payment
and telecommunication signaling.
Ken is a member of the International Telecommunication
Union Development Sector, and participates in various
activities of the ITU.

Tom Mathai
Founder and Director
Tom Mathai is one of the founders of Embedded Wireless
Labs.
Tom is the former President of Caught in the Web,
Inc., Toronto, which he co-founded in 1995. It is
now one of North America’s most prestigious
web development corporations with clientele including
the Federal Government of Canada, IBM Corporation,
Microsoft Corporation, Deloitte & Touche International,
Time Warner Inc., Polygram Group of Companies, Virgin
Music, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and Bank
of Nova Scotia.
Among others, CITW was responsible for developing
a java based commerce system for various sections
of the IBM Net.Commerce that allows merchants to
set-up virtual stores to conduct electronic commerce.
It was subsequently adopted by various Internet
Service Providers and is at the forefront of electronic
commerce.
CITW's Virtual City website for Warner Music was
the first ever virtual City launched online and
was nominated for the prestigious CLIO Award in
the “Best Web Site Category”.
Tom and his team also developed the first ActiveX
control that allows users to upload data files using
a browser. This technology is now showcased by Microsoft
Corp. and achieved "Most Popular Download"
on CNET's site.
